Organisation

Overall responsibility lies with the Board of Trustees, which is staffed by high-profile members. Thorsten Hens is Professor of Financial Economics at the University of Zurich and the University of Lucerne. He is Chair of the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee and in charge of the investment of assets at Rentenfabrik. Radim Portmann is Head of Underwriting & Propositions in the group life division of a renowned insurance company domiciled in Switzerland. He is the actuarial conscience of Rentenfabrik. Beat Badertscher is an attorney at law with his own company. He is the legal expert on the Board of Trustees. The interdisciplinary composition of the Board of Trustees thus guarantees Rentenfabrik’s professionalism in all matters.

The Board of Trustee is supported in its operational business by MURMOLI AG. MURMOLI AG is the founding company and remains passionately committed to ensuring that Rentenfabrik thrives strongly. Ursula May has been appointed Managing Director. She mediates between the Board of Trustees, the external supervisory bodies, the committees and the pension committees and is also responsible for underwriting at Rentenfabrik. Livio Cathomen manages distribution in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. Prof. Olaf Meyer supports the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee in investment matters and also manages distribution in Western Switzerland.
